...See more My dad is dying. He has a tumor that's basically a ticking time bomb. It makes my mom crazy. I've coped by keeping myself ridiculously busy. I ended up finding a path I wanted to pursue through this. The minimum GPA is 2.8 though. I had been an A student until my dad was diagnosed, but the quarter where I had to take him to the hospital as a studnet- he was vomiting, I had to take him there every morning, I couldn't even keep a d grade. Now I'm screwed. My teacher told me they may be able to repair my grade but it will take 6 weeks for a response. I'm just so anxious now. Everyone is too busy battling their own issues and now I'm just sitting here, waiting for something to happen. If it goes wrong, I will drop out... Sad as it is, it's not sustainable like this. My mom wants me to go to a 4 year college and yet she doesn't want to pay 3k for my trade. I'm spiraling into never ending work. I don't sleep much and I don't take any breaks. If I stop I can only think about all my issues. I wish I could just get a confirmation. Id like to enjoy my vacation with my father, but this uncertainty- it drives me up a wall. It has to go right. It has to. If it doesn't, I'll have to beg for my SAT scores, take the ACT in December... None of my teachers will answer me. They had been my only solid support even though they didn't understand that I'm not living with 17 year old issues anymore. I'm dealing with 20 years old issues. No one really relates as much as my tech teacher does but I feel like I've already asked her too much. I can't sleep easy until I get closure on my grade...
