I am a high school teacher that grew up in a complex trauma home with an NPD parent. I suffered multiple losses of family and friends from a young age. I experienced grooming in three separate situations as a teenager. I struggled with food addiction and depression as well as suicidal thoughts. I have hidden myself for years. But now I am in therapy. I am learning to show up for myself and to enjoy being who I am. Discovering the pure bent of who I was created to be without bitterness and with compassion is a process. I am still learning and growing. The Lord is gracious.
