I plan on becoming a clinical psychologist. I am a Senior at California State University, Fullerton, pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology to enter a graduate program. The study of mental disorders has always intrigued me, particularly understanding how the brain functions and influences behavior. I also want to work with troubled youth and families. I grew up in programs such as Section 8 and food stamps, so I have personal insight and personal experience in growing up disenfranchised. This led me to wanting to help families affected by social inequalities.
