I’m reaching my hand out to you—you don’t have to walk this path alone, let's walk together side by side.
Hi there! I am a friendly, open-minded listener living on my family’s farm in Southern Indiana. I am here to lend a supportive ear, to help you navigate through your struggles, and to remind you that you are perfect just the way you are. My goal is to lift you up, not tear you down. I want to help you take control of your anxiety and thoughts so they don’t control you, and I am ready to walk beside you for as long as you need. Taking it one small step at a time, if walking is too much, I'll get down and crawl with you, and if you're not ready or able to crawl, I'll sit here beside you until you are.
I am a mother of three teenagers, which has taught me patience and understanding. I’m also a creative soul who loves drawing, photography, and spending time in nature. I have a deep love for reading and writing—I write poems and short stories, and I am currently working on a book that is a mix of mystery, thriller, surreal, and fantasy themes.
I believe in using my own experiences to help others. I have faced many ups and downs in my life, and I am open to sharing what I’ve learned about what helps and what causes stress. Because of my own journey, I can personally relate to and support you through a wide variety of challenges, including:
Mental Health & Wellness: Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, addiction, recovery, self-harm, nightmares, and managing emotions.
Life Struggles: Feeling stuck in a rut, seasonal blues, feelings of being lost, loneliness, grief, chronic pain, and self-esteem.
Relationships & Family: Parenting, family stress, family relationships, friendships, relationships, breakups, heartbreak, abuse, and bullying.
Daily Life: Work stress, student life, women's issues, spirituality, guilt, and forgiveness.
I am also very experienced with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My seventeen year old son was diagnosed with Non-verbal Expressive and regressive ASD when he was a little over three years old, and two years ago developed a seizure disorder that we are still trying to find the cause. I also have sixteen year old fraternal twins a girl and her younger twin brother. My youngest is on the mild side of the spectrum, he has a mild to moderate cognitive disability but he is fully verbal, and is able to manage social situations so much better than he could a few years ago. My daughter struggles with anxiety and panic attacks and has been learning grounding techniques that have helped her a lot. She had been getting bullied for a while, but we got that resolved and are working through the trauma and helping her get back to the happy, bubbly girl she is.
I have also had Sucicide personally touch my life, sadly more than once. I've had three family members and a few friends take their own lives or attempt to take their life. I personally sat with a few of them on more than one occasion and helped them through nights or days they were struggling, some of them I was able to help through and get the care and help they needed.
No matter what you are facing, I am here to help you find your motivation and your strength. Let’s talk.
