...See more so ive been having hallucinations for two years now.. In the beginning, sometimes ill wake up to the sound of someone screaming in my ear(usually was the sound of my mother) or a voice saying "YOU WONT ESC@PE ME, NO ONE WlLL HELP YOU" "Ill KlLL YOU" umm stuff like that and my parents were convinced it was just nightmares anyway, then sleep paralysis started happening to me and it was TRAUMATISING i used to(while not being able to move or speak) see black figures laying above me, feel someone/something touching my body or hugging me, hear voices talking to me and telling me theyll never leave me alone, hear the breathing of a person behind me or see my parents standing beside my bed staring at me I honestly thought i was possessed by a demon..i used to stay awake for days afraid i might hallucinate if i go to sleep and it only kept getting worse eventually i went to a psychiatrist and she gave me antipsychotics and the hallucinations stopped for a while and i was actually getting better but she told me they were normal hallucinations and that i am not schizophrenic or anything? After like 4 months of therapy i was diagnosed with bipolar type II(which makes sense), but i feel like i might have something else? like the hallucinations werent normal like the dr said I want to know if anyone diagnosed with bipolar has ever experienced hallucinations? and if not, should i change my dr or trust her? Im asking bec now that ive stopped taking the medications the hallucinations started again(less intense tho)and i cant tell the difference between reality and dreams/hallucinations anymore its so scary and confusing please someone help
