...See more Does anyone else need to have misc/randoms thoughts in their brain when working on something or if it just me? Example: Working on a project at work that of course needs my attention, there’s lots of research involved (which doesn’t bother me, it actually entertains me), but for some reason I feel the need to image/create some sort of scenario in my head about some random *** that has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m doing or even my job. I used to call them fantasizations (yes I know the spelling is incorrect) when I was in high school. And the scenarios will range from meeting someone famous, writing a book, getting lost somewhere and trying to figure out how to get out, being in a relationship with someone. Okay just realized that some of those things are things that I want or need to do, lol. Either way I just always feel the need to imagine all this and create the story in my head as I’m working on something else. Also I have a bad tendency to think of things I need to do, and I’ll write it down so I won’t forget but then I don’t do them at all. Anyways just felt the need to vent about this since it’s an everyday thing and today I just wanted to put it out there.

...See more First time posting While I’m at work my mind starts thinking about all these personal task/ things I need or want to do, for example: I need to find the quote for my kids braces, crap I need to make my dentist appointment too before the year ends. Need to figure out the household budget. Also need to remind the husband about putting up the shelf in the hall closet. I really need to enforce the home schedule for the kids, they spend all day on the computer, I should take them walking when I get home from work. Need to book the hotel and things to do for our Thanksgiving trip soon. Uggh my medication isn't working, I need to email my doctor, have to make myself some kind of schedule or something so I can stay on top of things. Ohh, I need to get me an airfryer! Etc., and so forth. This goes on ALL day long while I am at work (8hrs). I even look stuff up (plane tickets to new york, buying a house, help with staying focused, have more energy.) all while I am doing my job. I write it down so I don't forget, even set alarm reminders to let me know to look at my list. And what do I do when I get home?? Absolutely, freaking NOTHING at all! OMGoodnees, I swear I feel like I am just the worst. And it’s not like I dont have the time, I do! I have like 6-7hours from the time I get home from work till I go to bed, lots of time.Yes I know I should make a schedule, I know I should be consistent and hold myself accountable. And when I tell people what my situation is they tell me; well you’re just lazy or my most annoying one is it must not be that important to you. It’s all very much important to me and the fact that I have a household to run with two teenagers + the husband, my not doing things does not help. So basically my question is, does anyone else have that issue where your mind is all over the place in the morning/afternoon and then afternoon/evening it just shuts down? Any suggestions, questions and or concerns are very much welcome and appreciated. side note: I am currently posting this while at work,
