I am an “older adult” woman, (don’t like the term “senior citizen!”), who knows how important it is to be truly heard and figuratively held when going through a tough time. We are all in this boat of life together. And, I have experienced a lot in my life. I have done best when I had support from other people. I listen totally non- judgmentally to family, friends, and strangers, because I believe the human connection is what helps us get through the trying times in life. Whether the "little" problems or the larger traumas - and everything in between- we cope best when we feel heard, understood, and hopeful about being able to weather life's challenges. Compassion and Kindness are my watchwords.
