Hello! I'm glad we found each other on 7Cups. I'm not someone who is an expert on listening or giving advice, but I can assure you that I've faced battles of my own and continue to do so, and I know that sometimes all you need is someone to bare your soul to. That someone can never be better than a complete stranger, coz those who love you will judge, but I think as a stranger and as someone who has no idea about the battles you wage, I've no right to judge you. What I can do though, is, to hear you out.



If you think you have been strong for too long, have put up a great show for the world to see and need to be yourself with someone, I'm here for you. Always.

...See more Hey guys! This isn't about something gruesome like you think from the title! I'm here to talk about parental mental abuse that most kids go through at some or the other point in their life. Your parents getting angry with you, but not yelling at you? You think you're lucky! But they don't talk to you or don't do stuff that'd usually do for you for days and you keep thinking what you can do to get them back, you miss them, you crave their attention and interest in you. This is not normal! Parents have all the right to get angry, but giving kids the silent treatment, develops in them a fear of abandonment, a fear that they aren't worthy of being loved, all of which keeps growing in them and coming out as low self-esteem
