Spent my life suppressing everything, decided life's too short for that so came here to see if I can try to fix my mind. Fan of tattoos, dogs, superheroes, and being a kind person. This year I've quit smoking, and taken back my health (lost almost 40 pounds). Now it's just time to improve myself mentally.

...See more A few months ago I met the girl of my dreams and we hit it off immediately. I never believed in love at first sight until I met this girl but that's what it was. After just a couple short months and out of the blue ends things with me, I was so absolutely devastated, but since then, multiple times she has come back in my life, built up hope for me by telling me she misses me, spending time with me, etc. Only to change her mind and take it all back saying she doesn't have feelings for me and we can't talk anymore. The most recent was just a few days but this one definitely feels like it's for sure the end and I am having a really hard time dealing with it. I know it's nuts to be so in love with someone I've known such a short time, but I truly feel like she was the one, like this was a once in a lifetime thing and now it's gone. At best now I have this unbelievably high standard I'm going to expect to feel like in a relationship that I'm scared I'll spend my entire life trying to find again. How do I pick up my spirits when I feel this way? I'm so absolutely crushed.
