You can call me here as Hissi or Hisshi.

In Japanese it resonates with the words desperation, with all ones might, and has its core meaning — fighting for your life.

There were no sugarcoatings to describe my life. It was full of struggles and intense battles.

I only knew one thing. There's life for eternity that comes as a gift from the One who suffered and died for all, for even me. I knew Him, He saved me. His name means "God saves". They call Him Jesus.

...See more Hello everyone 👋🏼 I tried this path today entitled "Re:generation:Recovery in Christ". It was great to spend time reading through them. I guess they're specifically for people struggling with addiction or chemical abuse. I am not one but I just feel like I wanted to see what it has to say about recovery. I feel like I needed it, so I tried and I felt like it has been a good idea. This one is from the portion of it Week 1, Day 7: Rest and Worship. I find it great to stumble upon this truth today. I have been feeling restless in the past. Lately I realized certain truths about just acknowledging where my strength comes from, and where I can find rest. It has been hard in the past just feeling like I am laboring all day. I find it good to just be still in God, reflect with Him, and tell Him I need Him. I am glad that through Him I can find recovery. Then so I can begin to take a other one step at a time. Can I ask you something... How do you entrust God with your rest?
