...See more I’m 33F. I work at an architecture firm—love the creative parts, not so much the office politics (but I guess that’s everywhere). I’m naturally lowkey and guarded. I don’t open up easily, and I’ve built walls over time. I’m not the loudest or easiest person to know, and maybe that’s why I’ve never really had many close friends. Family-wise, I grew up with five brothers—yep, the only girl—so I’ve been around men my whole life. Maybe that’s why I tend to feel more drawn to women, emotionally and quietly. I get flustered around women I like, and sometimes it feels like I’m living inside a slow-burn wlw story that no one else knows is happening. It makes friendship complicated too. I guess I just wanted to put myself out there. I don’t expect instant connection, but I’d try to not ever felt unsure how to belong, or guarded, or like you know, sometimes I feel like I’m the villain in my own story. I push people away, I shut them out and deep down I think about starting over with new people that dont know anything about me. I know the problem might be me. I don’t know how to fix but I’m tired pretending I’m okay. Just needed to let that out.
