...See more New here and not really sure where to begin or what to even work on first. My depression and anxiety have gotten bad lately and I'm just wanting to try to work on it. I'm 31 years old, have been depressed most of my life and have had anxiety issues for even longer. I have really bad social anxiety which is why I haven't ever really went to a counselor or therapist. Most of my issues started when I was 9 and my mom past away. I lived with my grandparents who never were of any help and just let me deal with it all on my own. Anytime I did try to talk to my grandma she would just make it about herself and tell me how it was harder on her loosing a daughter. I've suffered so long I don't even know what my issues are, I don't even know what's wrong. I just know I'm not OK. All I've ever wanted in life was to know what being happy feels like, I know how to fake it and know how to completely block everything out to try but it just leads to me becoming more depressed from hiding everything. Blocking out everything has made my memory so bad I just feel blank most of the time...
