...See more I’m new here…  I’m looking for support about some thoughts I’ve been having for some years now… Basically, I think I have some severe physical health problems (based on some symptoms) but I’m so terrified about it that I can’t talk about them to anyone. I’m afraid nobody would believe me or that my doubts would be underestimated. I have told my parents about a couple of them before (some years ago now) while I was pretty anxious and I got told that it wasn’t something serious to worry about (I also went to a doctor and he said there was nothing). But the symptoms haven’t disappeared yet and I even got some new ones, but I haven’t talked about them anymore because I thought they would have gone away eventually. But they’re still here, and now I got to a point where some of them have worsen so much that I can’t live normally anymore pretending there’s nothing wrong with me. I can’t really talk to my parents because our relationship is pretty bad right now (I still live with them), I don’t have any friends and I isolated myself for the last months (I haven’t left the house in a long time). I’m terrified of finding out I really have got some severe illness and that I will have to suffer a lot (or that I’m gonna d*e soon). I’m stuck and I would like to tell my mum about them so that maybe she can help me to go to a doctor, but lately she doesn’t talk to me at all (for other reasons). And the funny thing is that, in some way, these doubts are the main reason I’m not able to really go and live my life (and talk to my mother). I feel like I’m paralyzed by fear.  Do you have any advice? Has anyone ever gone through something similar before? (p.s. I’m in my twenties. English is not my first language, so excuse me if I made some mistakes).
