...See more I’ve been feeling like this for some while now. I’m a university student, and I have no motivation left at all. The lasting effects of online learning have definitely taken a toll. For the past 4 years online school has been hard. Everyday I wake up stare at my screen until night and repeat. I have no life, I can’t sleep, and I barely leave the house. Academically as a first year student, I’ve managed to do well in a couple classes while others are not looking promising at all which will cost me. I’m just lost, I feel empty. So much of my youth has been taken away, not only because of the pandemic. I have yet to live life, and that makes me so incredibly unhappy. As a teenager I have not done anything, I haven’t lived, there is so much I want to experience and see! I want to be free, experience love, doing things on my own without my family constantly breathing down my neck. I’m not happy. If your feeling the same way, feel free to comment. It’s hard opening up to friends and family, some people aren’t as understanding or empathetic. They judge. It’s hard to express myself so freely, but thank you for listening. I’m trying my best.
