...See more Hi, Im new and I wanted to put this out there in case anyone has thought the same thing?? I havent had a major struggle with depression (if thats what it was) for about a year, but I cant tell if things are getting bad again and its scaring me. When things were bad last time I went to CAMHS and it didnt help at all, and they offered no major advice apart from ‘that sounds like suicidal ideation - no official diagnosis or actual help. Anyway, I guess thats made me feel really guilty, because its like my mental health isnt worth worrying about because no one ever actually diagnosed me, so I dont like to say its depression (even though the word was thrown around a bit by the CAMHS lady). At the moment things have been triggering thoughts to come back and I cant tell whether Im getting bad again or whether Im just tired and having a bad week. Obviously in no way is the ‘bad week as bad as things were, but Im scared that its the start of something worse. I just dont want to go back to how things were, because not only was it an awful time, but mental health isnt really understood in my family and they just think I had a ‘bit of a stressful time with exams.
