...See more I'm afraid to say I'm being gaslight. I hink I allow my partner to feel that way about me. Since I'm loving, compassionate, a nurturer by nature. I love to takecare of my love ones. Long story short. My adhd daughter of 9 had gone to my room to grab a box of cornflakes that I bought for my partner. She got it off my partners dresser. So he's like who ate it. My son admitted he did, then he starts telling him. Why you ate it and etc .. He told him it was in the kitchen table so he grabbed some, my partner started telling him your lying it was in my room and etc.. my son has adhd too and he's 12. So I interrupt and say, hold on. Then I asked who took the box from the room to begin with. It was my 9 year old daughter. She goes off running and yelling and crying uncontrollably to her room. So we go in our room and I tell him okay. I have to find a way to talk to her to make her understand what she did isn't okay; But I want to give her time to calm down. Then I told him, how can I make you feel better or find a solution to your problem? So he starts just reproaching at me. Okay like he's venting. That I was taking it easy on my kids and etc... Started to bring things of the past how I would tell him he was easy on his kids when they disrespected me by calling me badwords and names. Well at the end I bought him the box or cornflakes that my kids ate, and to top of that $100 to replace the original charger he had from his cellphone. That my son did get. Plus one he had from his old cellphone. Plus 2 of mine I gave to him in the past. Now he's giving me the silent treatment. At the end long story short he got mad at me. I know I can replace things like that but not the trust. I understand how he feels but I spoke to them and they were punished. Now I'm just giving hi his space. While he gets all negative I always try to be positive. My solution to the problems I've had with his kids I asked him that I wanted a sincere apology and for them to own up what they did. He can talk to my kids how he feels but I can't talk to his only he can since they're feel hostile.
