hello I'm a lady from Michigan on Lake Huron, I'm age 50 + and I have 2 daughters ages 18 and 13 my elderly father lives with us and I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend who is an alcoholic I have been in multiple toxic relationships and my children have suffered neglect and abuse I am a social worker and an artist I am learning about the childhood emotional neglect I experienced, codependency, and ACT I consider myself to have just begun recovery even though I have been seeking healing since I was very young I am interested in 12 step recovery, art therapy, nature, pets, and strengthening relationships self care and respect and validation and big for me I'm happy to be here, thank you! Whoops forget to mention that I think I am a hsp/empath
