...See more Make Mental Notes to Take Care of Myself - I've been trying to change my mindset, cause I heard that helps, and rewire it to the point where my mind will be like "hey we need to take care of this soon" for instance, getting my toes done, taking care of my hair, buying more products I need, trying to think more positively, being more aware of whatever I do, etc. Now my brain can't help but tell me to look around at myself and see if everything on me is good or needs some construction. Affirmations - believe it or not, they actually work. What I do is I'll usually find a quote or something that really stands out to me and I'll save it to my photos and look at it from time to time whenever I feel it's a good time to look at it again. Or I'll see an affirmation over and over again online and eventually it just repeats in my head and it soon becomes apart of my life. And whenever I feel those low and negative verges approaching, I'll tell myself those affirmations. Mental Trackers - again, what I said for journals, one of those is used for my mental health. Well, I like to do this thing called a mental check up tracker where I check up on myself mentally to see where my head is at. So I'll write down: * what I've been feeling (ex. sad, mad, exhausted, lost, etc.) * what I've noticed myself doing (ex. lashing out, self-sabotaging, forgetting things, zoning out a lot, emotionally detaching, etc.) * thoughts I've been having (ex. why am I acting like this?, why do I keep doing these things?, etc.) * things that currently triggered me to feel and do such things (ex. anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia, family, work, trauma, etc.) * and lastly I'll write what methods have I done to try to heal or better my mental (ex. sleep, breathing exercises, a good crying session, mental discipline, etc.) Journal - I have 2 journals. 1 to write down my mental health and monthly agendas and 2 to do journal prompts and write whatever else I'm personally feeling or want to get off my chest. Music - music can always be a good option. For me, I usually listen to music when I have songs in my head that won't go away. But music keeps me at a calm state or at least puts me in a better mood. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Hopefully this can also help somebody else if they need it. Mental health is usually not taken seriously and is more ignored as well as self care in general but it really does exist and should be treated with care and love. If you or someone else is struggling with mental health or other issues, please talk to someone you're close to or a therapist/counselor. Please don't be afraid to reach out and speak up.

...See more We can take the time to appreciate our own development, though. I have picked up a few lessons along the way: 1. Always be kind to yourself. 2. Water your flowers (appreciate the small steps you have made in life). 3. Help others; sometimes all people need is a hug or a smile. 4. Reflect on your toxic traits and fix them. 5. What you acknowledge in others, you see in yourself. 6. You are not your generational trauma. 7.Everyone's love language differs. 8. No one is you, and that is your power. 9. People have lives to live, and sometimes we forget to check in. 10. Family and friends are important. 11. As you age, so does everyone around you, so do not take anyone for granted. 12. Money is not everything. 13. Prioritize your mental health days. 14. People are always watching you, but do not let that dictate how you should live your life. People will always judge you. 15. Pain is temporary, and there is always a higher purpose. 16. God is the only one you can trust. 17. You do not fail; you just get what is meant for you. 18. Memories fade, but pictures are forever. 19. Always apologize; forgiveness is difficult, but if it won't matter in five years, don't hold onto the hurt. 20. No one can take your education away from you. 21. People are in your life for a season or a reason. 22. Every day is a blessing. 23. Love everyone as best as you can; be a blessing; be a friend! Your Jasmine 💕 .

...See more Please remember that every small step you take each day counts for something, and running several miles in one day won't help you reach your destination any faster. It will only make you too exhausted and aching to walk for the following days. You're doing alright despite whatever you're going through. Living is enough. here's some things you may need to hear: * you're good enough * sometimes it's okay to not try so hard * it's okay to not always be strong * you don't have to be anything for anybody * don't be so hard on yourself * you're worth it * it doesn't make you weak to ask for help * let yourself cry Keep spreading positivity. I love you. Your Jasmine
