...See more Hiya everyone! 💗 I am Jess! This is actually my first official forum post, after having learnt my way around it ☺️ I've decided to share this with you all because i think recovering from self harm is the most important aspect of self harming overall! I will not go into detail, but having struggled with self harm myself, i helped myself recover my using a technique known as 'the butterfly project' 🦋, sounds quite cute, doesnt it? ☺️ Just to explain in simple terms, the butterfly project is when you draw a butterfly in a marker on places you have self harmed, or on marks that had been left behind from self harming. 💗 Then you name each butterfly/butterflies after someone you love and means a lot to you! If you then self harm where the butterfly is, you have now hurt the person you've named it after! 🦋 I feel like this technique is very useful to use to gain the motivation, and support people who are ready to stop! 😊 I know it can be hard to refrain self harming, but you are not alone. You are special, and you are worth living for 💗 Questions you may want to answer: 1) Do you think self harming is the only option for coping? 2) How important is self harm recovery to you? 3) Tell
