Bio

I consider myself a listener before I consider myself a speaker. When someone talks to me, I genuinely try to understand what they mean, not just hear the words they are saying. I pay attention to the little things: their tone, pauses, expressions, and even the things they struggle to say out loud.

I don't believe every conversation needs advice. Sometimes people simply need someone who will sit with them, listen without judging, and let them be honest. I try to be that person. I can listen to someone talk about their problems, their dreams, their fears, or even the most random things, and I won't make them feel like they are being a burden.

I'm also the kind of listener who remembers things. If someone once told me about something important to them, I tend to remember it because, to me, listening means caring enough to notice. I want people to feel heard, not merely responded to.

And perhaps the most important thing about me as a listener is that I don't listen only when things are easy. If someone is struggling, confused, angry, or simply doesn't know how to explain what they're feeling, I can stay. I may not always have the perfect words or the perfect solution, but I can offer my presence.

For me, being a good listener is a quiet form of kindness. Sometimes you don't need to fix someone's world, you just need to give them a safe place to put it down for a while.
