...See more Hey everyone, I'm really sorry that this check in being posted really late. I have finally cleared up my schedule a bit to check in with all of you :) I wonder how are you doing this week, so feel free to to answer our questions for you below: 1) On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, how would you rate your feelings at the moment? Feel free to tell us why! 2) Have you found your true happiness? If yes, what is it? If no, how would you like to find it for yourself? 3) Do you believe in the phrase "happily ever after" ? 4) Are you happy with being yourself or your life? If not, how would like to change it to the way you're happy about it? Some of us may think that true happiness is an exaggeration statement that one would use. It's understandable that each of us from different perspectives which produced different opinions. However, I still believe that each of us here today deserve happiness in our lives, it doesn't need to be as a big achievements, wealth, or maybe fame to be our cause to happiness. Sometimes, the things as simple as life is going well, having good company by our sides, or getting a good rest can contribute to finding happiness for ourselves. Life sure got a lot in store for us that it makes our life bittersweets. This doesn't mean that you need to be happy all the time. Being happy all the time could have negative effects on us as well. Thus, if you feel like you want to cry, to be sad, be frustrated or feel scared, please let the emotion in. These emotions are crucial to build a healthy emotion and mind within ourselves. ...See more Dear you ❤️ I hope this virtual letter has found its way to you. I’m so glad that you’re here today reading this and just being here. If you don’t mind, please proceed to read this humble virtual letter to the very end. Earlier this month, I was planning to do two check-ins for us. I have done the first one and the second one is yet to be done due to life events that have been keeping me busy. At this very moment, I thought to be a little creative with my check ins so here we are now. Hmm, do you realize that the year of 2022 will close its book just in a few days as we’re speaking at the moment? Truthfully, I don’t because you know, it feels like time flies so fast that we are now just a few days away from the beginning of the year of 2023. When we talk about it, I don't really know how to describe my year of 2022. Lots of things happened that I am not sure how to feel about it. I am wondering, how about yours? If it’s a year for you to remember in your lifetime, then I'm truly happy for you. I would like to hear each of the moments that you treasured if you would like to share it with me. Maybe we could reminisce about all the good times together. However, If it’s a year that you would rather forget like it never exists, I have been on those days and that’s valid. I can’t say that I get why you’re saying like that because I know you know yourself and your year better than I do. If you would like to share about it, then I'm here for you to hear it all out and if I could do more, I want to ease all your pains and worries. Other than that, if you’re unsure what your year of 2022 means to you, fear not, both of us are in the same boat. I don’t mean to make it sound so positive or negative about it. All I want to tell is we’ll figure it out someday as the year of 2022 holds a different perspective from both of us. Are you still here with me? I have more in store for our letter. Please take a break from reading this if you find it overwhelming for yourself to take this all in. You can come back anytime again to resume reading. Glad that you’re still here, willing to resume reading this. You know, I’m really grateful to have you here with me despite going through all my not-so-correct grammar writing here and there. Moreover, your presence here is a blessing and a gift for me and I appreciate and cherish every moment that I'm here with you. I’m curious now, do you find something that you feel really grateful for? I mean, you could state anything that comes to your mind and if you don’t wish to share it with me, it’s all good and I respect that. If you haven’t found one yet, then it’s okay, sometimes even the easiest thing for most people to figure out, takes the most time from us to have it figured out for ourselves. And it’s totally understandable because I believe there are paces that we could and couldn’t pick up right away. Speaking of this, a dear friend of mine, @HealingTalk has made a post about ‘Ending the year with Gratitude [https://www.7cups.com/forum/DepressionSupportCommunity_52/ForumActivitiesDiscussions_332/EndingtheyearwithGratitude_293556/]’ . I encourage you to give it a read. Believe me, it’s a nice and great post about what I'm trying to convey at the moment. Wow, it’s been hours of writing this letter for you. I wonder how you felt when you were reading this letter to this point as I do not dare to imagine what your reply would be in return. Hold on to all your thoughts and reply at the moment. There is a last question that I would like to ask you in this letter and I wish we could think about it together. The question is: What is your goal that you would like to achieve next year? How ironic, even though I'm asking you about this, I don’t even have my goals yet if you were to ask me first. For me, this is a personal question that I would rather not answer as I'm still uncertain about my own future. Despite all of my uncertainity, one thing I would like to focus on is to improve myself. I know, it’s a rather simple answer, right? You know, from time to time, it’s been on my mind that if what I did all this time was enough, if I truly deserve everything good around me. Well enough about that, i don’t want to make this letter all sappy. So that’s why I'm trying to improve in all areas, not to please people but I just want to be satisfied with how I am. You know, your goal doesn’t have to be something drastic from where you are now, for example maybe you found it hard to wake up in the morning then you can set the goal to be waking up earlier than usual and keep the consistency while at it. As simple as it sounds, it could be a point of our life changing moment. If you already had planned it out but you don’t know how or where to start, perhaps you could ask your loved ones to aid you in achieving it or perhaps you could share it here as I'm here to support you through it all. Whatever the goals you set at the moment, I have faith in you. I’m afraid this is where we’ll part our ways for now as I have other things to attend to. Once again, I’m truly thankful for your companionship with me to the very end of this humble virtual letter. I apologize for any inconveniences that I may have caused before and recently and maybe now. Oh before I forget, I would like to wish you a happy new year and happy holidays. May our new year off to a great start and may your holidays be full of joy and prosperity. I think that’s all I wanted to write for you in this letter.
