...See more I have been sober for a 17 years, which it does not meanthat I am a strong person to tolerateany kind of holiday day when too many people party during the holiday. I tend to stay to myself a little more during holiday days, which it is hard for non addict people understand if Ishare anything of struggle as an addict to them. So I tend to use the cope system by going to the gyma few times a week, talk to one or two mutual friends who can understand and support, and sigh. I tend to hate the holiday daydeeply since Iam an addict.
