...See more I am a little stressed about my appt today for the doctor. I worked on my ego today and that helped. Knowing I must rely on myself for entertainment concersation and friendship has been awesome. Actually I have found apps that help me cope. There’s good and bad things about technology but I am glad I found a friend app. It’s been helping immensely. I also use this app and a moderator said I should try listening and they now know I am trying to work on my ego. Which is a hard thing to do. I think we get so consumed by our egos and we often feel the world revolves around us and it dosent. Think about it the sun rises and sets without us. It’s never all about us and the sermon I listened to Sunday talked about the ego. I want to be more sympathetic and I want to be a better person. Working on listening skills empathy and compassion takes time and personal kindness it dosent happen overnight. I don’t want to burden friends with my personal issues because they aren’t there for that. An occasional check in. Just asking how they are thats what they are there for. Working on my health is an awesome thing and im proud of me for it and don’t need others validation.
