My depression is making me feel insane

...See more I've had depression for over a year now and the last few months I've been trying harder, but lately I just feel so hopeless. To add to this, something new has come up. It happened once before a few months ago, but it's happening again. The last few days I've been experiencing "derealization". I feel like I'm not real, like I'm living in a dream most of the day. It is kind of scary and I actually had a little panic attack about it earlier. I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should just let it take its course and hopefully it will go away soon or if I should schedule an appointment with my counselor sooner than I had planned because despite knowing it happens to other people I'm kind of freaked out and scared that I'm just losing my mind
