...See more Hello! I’m 29. I have grown up never really having friends due to strict parents. Then as I got older, abusive relationships kept me from having friends. Then as I got even older after that, I realized I don’t know how to make friends. I don’t know how to talk to others. I don’t know how to communicate. Does anyone have any advice on how to make friends? I live in a small state and small town. There’s not much to do here. The only way I’d have a chance at finding a friend I feel is going to the bars. But they would only be “bar friends” because that’s where they spend their time and you’d probably never hang out, outside of the bar. Friendships feel so… fake? To me. When I watch other females talking to their friends.. everything feels kind of exaggerated, fake, not genuine. I don’t like the gossiping about others, the hurtful things they say and do, and being on their friends side just because they are friends even if what they are doing isn’t right. Any advice would be great. Or any apps, websites, ect to make some online friends at least
