Low self-esteem and anxiety attacks

...See more I’ve been trying to quit social media for the longest time now, but every time I do I always end up right where I started. I just want to stop myself from posting so much because it’s starting to make me feel like I need people’s validation to make me feel better, but it’s not making me feel any better. All I’ve wanted was to be accepted and be liked by people even though I know that it’s not possible to have everyone like you. It’s been getting so bad that I start to get anxiety/panic attacks just about anywhere at any time (like at work, for example) because I tell myself that I’m not good enough or that I’ll never “fit in”. I figured I should go to therapy but I don’t exactly have the money for that right now and I wouldn’t know who to trust or where to go. I’ve distanced myself from friends and family because I’m just too embarrassed to tell them what’s happening. I just really want to gain more self confidence and stop caring about what people think about me. No matter how much I tell myself that I’m just overreacting and that I’ll get over it soon, it only lasts temporarily before I start to feel overwhelmed and I just want to break down again. It’s like a never ending cycle and I wish that I could just find a way to make it stop even for just a little longer.
