...See more It's been a lot lately. If I'm going to be really honest. College, Students' Union duties (I'm the current assistant welfare director), personal life, ministry, everything. There are days I feel blessed, other days I feel utterly overwhelmed. Some other days, I find myself leaning more on my strength than God's. It's been a whole journey, a whole learning process. The Bible scripture, Psalms 37:5 has brought me peace in the middle of chaos. It reminds me that my strength can't achieve much. I need to delight in the Lord, spend quality time in His presence, trust Him, and He'll fulfil the desires of my heart. The desires of my heart are many, if I'm being honest. But I know for a fact that every single one of them that align with the will of my Father will come to pass in due timing. That's what His Word says and that's where I stand. Yes I know it might take long, very long.  But it will happen. Until then, I will keep delighting in my Father. 😊

...See more Hello all! I'm Lorianne, a new listener on here and I'm really grateful to be one. I know how hard life gets and how much of a need there is for people to have support when they are going through a hard time. I'd love to say right now that it doesn't last forever. Some years back I was dealing with depression and several mental health issues, I remember telling myself "I don't think I'll ever heal" because at that point I thought I was too broken beyond repair. But sometimes being broken breaks new grounds inside of us. The dark nights don't go on for so long. Fun fact: the darkest nights give way to the most beautiful sunshines. You will get through this. It sounds impossible but it's possible. You're stronger than you know. Don't give up!! Lots of love, Lori.
