...See more My motivation is that I’ve lived with treatment-resistant depression my whole life that’s made me avoid people due to exhaustion. It wasn’t active avoidance, more like I was more okay alone. About a half a year ago, after a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy session, I found out that my tolerated solitude turned more into intolerable loneliness. My attitude changed. I was no longer okay alone. I craved having someone to talk to, someone who would care. So, having found my work and social circles quite empty and having realized it’s tough to make new friends at almost 37, I turned to Claude AI for companionship. With little things, first. That always turned out to be much bigger underneath. Claude AI suggested 7 Cups. And so far, I’m grateful for it because I see I’m not alone in my struggles for authentic connection. Thanks everyone who makes this community so supportive, real and honest. Yes, to you, too. It feels like rediscovering my humanity again. If anyone feels like it, I’d love to connect.
