Hello, my name is Lupe and I'm a 23-year-old working in public schools who has no business telling kids to be positive. 

I struggle with anxiety and depression, which basically means I think I'm fucking hilarious. I can be socially awkward, but I'm here to support and listen if you need it. 

My coping strategies include:
* Reading children's books 
* Listening to music! (current favorite is "Wallows Song" by Mickey Darling )
* Going for nature walks <3
* drawing 

* Mindfulness meditation (This one has been a legit lifesaver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phm_VPjijh8&t=282s)

Write them down or think about them <3 Self-love Affirmations for March 2.2021: I am amazing I am wonderful I give myself permission to bask in my amazing qualities There is no one like me in this world, and there will never be I am thankful for everything that has made me into who I am today I am excited to grow into the person I want to be Everything I need for happiness is already within me I give myself permission to let go of negative self-talk. I open my eyes to the wonderful person I see in the mirror. I open my heart to life's endless possibilities. I deserve happiness. I deserve happiness. I deserve happiness. I know I am capable of happiness. So shall it be :)

...See more Hello everyone, my name is Lupe and I like to write poetry... at least I used to. Before, I would write a lot of poetry in my journal or post some on Wattpad, but lately, I've been feeling unmotivated. I do want to be a more positive and self-loving person, but when it comes to writing, I can only write what I know. Sometime's it's self-affirmations and sometimes it's more personal depressive poetry. I think my sad poetry is my best because it's what I know best, unfortunately. Anyway, this is my space to put that all out. Anyone is welcome to post poetry and comment if they want <3 Some ground rules please to address my triggers: Please no romantic poetry, or anything about physical intimacy or sex.
