Thank God for cats

...See more I mean that! Truly - thank God for these incredible creatures! As I lay on my bed thankful that I survived the day, my kitty lays curled up next to me and I am filled sith gratitude. My friends have proven themselves to be very selfish and unable to help when I need them. My heart hurts when I think about it too much. I allowed myself to be a victim of abuse for too many people and for too long. I feel like I've lost my voice. But have I evwr had one? Either way, is it too late to learn to be brave? And honest? Being a people pleaser is so damaging. Why can't I please myself? Can I learn? I believe I can. Time to build healthy habits so my soul can breathe.
