...See more         Little Misty   Little Misty Misty felt her brothers and sisters squirming around her, trying to get milk. While Misty was only a month old, she is the strongest, fastest, and bravest of them all. In that case, she got to the milk first. “Children, calm down. There will be milk for everyone.” said mother wolf, Alpha of the pack. She always ate first. Her mate died during the great war of 2050. “Momma! Misty is only getting milk!” said Casey, Misty’s brother. “Yea! I’m hungry!” whined Leo, her little brother. “ I WANT PAPA!!” screamed Kiki. “Guys! I’m trying to eat!” Misty argued against them ”I’m almost done.” She said. Misty finally trotted off into the snow, while her brothers and sisters argued who drinks next. “Hello young child.” said the omega. “Go away.” Misty said. That shut her up for a while. Other wolves eyed Misty suspiciously, but said nothing. Every now and then, a caribou or moose walked by, and Misty heard a lot of birds. Misty’s mom yelled out, “Misty, time to come home dear!” I’m tired. Thought Misty. Misty replied, “Ok mom!” Misty trampled by, and rammed right into Leo. “OWWWWW!!!” screeched Leo. “Sorry, but maybe DON’T GO IN MY WAY!!” Misty screamed back. “Stop fighting kids.” Mother wolf said. “Ok mom. But Misty started it!” Leo protested. “No I didn't!! You liar-face.” Misty shot at her brother. She walked inside and layed down. Mother wolf cuddled up to Misty to calm her down. It worked. Misty fell asleep. The next morning, Misty woke up alone. Misty was scared. “Momma? Leo? Casey? Kiki?” She whispered. “Hmmm, where is your family?” Sneered the omega. “Go away.” Misty yelled.  “No, sorry princess.” The omega countered. Misty couldn't take it anymore. The omega had annoyed her enough. “Leave me alone, or pay the price!” Misty warned. The omega just ignored her. Finally, Misty bit her, and the omega screeched in pain. Misty bit her again in the muzzle. “HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!?!” Screamed the omega again. Misty ran off, looking for her mother. “Misty! We tried to wake you, but you were sleeping too hard!” Mother wolf exclaimed. “Mom, the omega was trying to kill me!!”  Misty said quietly. “Her?” Mother wolf asked. “Yes momma, her!” Misty repeated. “Momma?” Misty asked “Yes dear?” Mother wolf answered. “Momma, why did you leave me? Was something scaring you?” Misty wondered. “Yes dear, and no. Well a bear, or something big was outside, and we tried to wake you,” Mother wolf answered, “but like I said, you were sleeping too hard dear.” Misty found Leo, and Casey. “Momma?  Where is Kiki?” Misty whispered. “Ummmm, honey Kiki sort of well. Kiki, honey, she ran off.” Mother wolf trembled as she spoke. “Where.” Misty demanded. Leo pointed a paw in the direction of where Kiki ran. “Momma, Leo, Casey?” Misty started to speak. “Yes Misty?” They all asked. “I’m going after her. Don’t Follow Me!” Misty said enthusiastically.  “Ok dear. BE CAREFUL!” Mother wolf warned. “There are things out there you don’t want to meet.” Mother wolf said. “I’ll be OK momma.” Misty answered. “I love you Misty.” Mother wolf said, as tears welled up inside her eyes. “I love you to momma.” “I'll be back!” Misty ran back to hug her mother. Then Leo, and then Casey. “I’ll be back very soon.” Misty cried, as she ran into the deep, dark woods. Misty found a place to rest, and was sure no one was after her. Except for the omega. Thought Misty, as she drifted off to sleep. The morning sun woke Misty up. She set off to find some small rodent to eat. Almost an hour later, Misty saw a small weasel. She started closing in on her prey, and grabbed it. “DON’T HURT ME!! I’M NOT CHEWY!!” screamed the rodent. Misty set it down slowly,  expecting it to run away, but it surprised her. It stayed there. “Who are you?” Asked Misty. “I could ask you the same thing.” Replied the weasel. “I’m Misty, and I asked you first.” She said. “Well, I’m Scamper. I also Don’t want to be eaten.” Said Scamper. “I won’t eat you… If you know where food is!” Misty said. The weasel walked in a specific direction, looking back to make sure Misty was coming. “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where are we going?” Misty asked. “To food!” Scamper exclaimed. Misty was still confused, but was silent. She followed him for what seemed like forever. Finally, they walked into a small clearing with a tiny cottage. “Wait.. Are we going… In there?!” Misty screamed. “If you want food, stay. Good doggy.” Scamper teased. Misty bared her fangs, and shut Scamper up. Scamper crawled into a little mouse sized hole and popped in. A long time later, Scamper popped back out, and as he ran towards Misty, he screamed “RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!” Misty didn’t need to be told twice. She knew what had happened. Scamper had been clumsy and did something to get a human's attention. The human had a huge pipe thing that humans called, a gun. Scamper, well scampered toward the woods carrying a sack bigger than Misty. “Wow!” Misty exclaimed while running. “What?” Scamper asked. “Wow, as in wow a lot of food!” Misty gasped. “Oh.” Scamper whispered. “Are we safe now?” Misty asked. “I think so.” Scamper replied. “Ok.” Misty sighed. Scamper shifted in his spot. “Be right back.” Scamper said. “Ugh.” Misty complained. She started walking in the direction that Scamper went. Scamper jumped and yelled, “Omigosh, you scared me!”  “Sorry!” Misty exclaimed. She walked back to the “Camp.”  Scamper came back. “Me Hungry!” Misty complained. ‘I’m working on it!” Scamper teased. “Sorry! No rush…” Misty muttered. Crackle! Scamper started a small fire. ‘‘Careful!” Misty exclaimed. “Don’t worry about me.” Scamper put the sack above the fire. “Scamper, the bag is gonna burn!” Misty warned. “Oh. Your right.” Scamper agreed. He put the bag on a rock and opened it. A whole lot of new smells came wafting out of it, like meat and even bread. Scamper gave Misty a loaf of bread and Misty scarfed it down.“Slow down! You’ll choke!” Scamper warned. Misty shuddered at the thought. “Ima go get fuel.” Scamper said as he walked off. “Ok, I’ll wait here, like a good dog.” Misty yelled sarcastically. She heard Scamper laugh. Misty howled. “Aroo to you too.” Chuckled an unfamiliar voice. “ Hello?” Misty asked. A teenage wolf stepped up, and Misty asked, “Who are you, and did you track me? Do you know Kiki?” Misty asked. But she had so many more questions. “Whoa whoa whoa. Not so fast. One at a time!” Said the wolf. “I am Dragon. No I did not track you, and yes, I know Kiki.” Said Dragon. “D-did you take ***-Kiki?” Misty stuttered. Dragon hesitated.”Yes. But show me your mother, and I’ll give her to you.” Dragon ordered, growling a deep growl. “Hey Misty, I’m-” Scamper paused as he noticed Dragon. “Go away Dragon!” Yelled Misty, obviously annoyed by Dragon.”Your choice, but good luck on finding your sister…” Dragon walked back into the shadows. “What in the name of Bizzerack was that?!” Scamper asked, seeming halfway terrified. “That was…” Misty paused, listening closely,” That was Dragon.” Misty finally replied. “I’m tired.” Said Scamper, as he laid down in Misty’s fluffy tail. Misty yawned. “Night, Scamper.” Misty sleepily croaked. No reply. Crackle! Rain soon thundered down, drenching the unusual pair in water. “Ugh.” Scamper groaned. “Guck! My fur is soaked!” Misty whined. “We need a-” “Shelter!” Misty interrupted,  noticing a small cave, similar to the one that she used to live in, even though she was miles from home. She led Scamper inside, and got comfey. The next Morning they got up and Misty trotted off into the woods, and soon reached a huge clearing. Misty noticed an odd figure which she soon realized was a black horse. All black but a white nose, and looked as if he were about to rip off the rope latched on his neck. “Hey! You OK?” Misty screeched, catching his attention. “W-what do you want?” Asked the horse. “I’m Misty. Why are you here, all alone?” Misty answered, and asked. “I’m Stormy, and these stupid humans caught me. Dominique will never forgive me.” Stormy solemnly whispered. “Why don’t we help, I’ve got a knack for persuading others into doing things they don’t wanna do.” Misty told him. Stormy looked up.”Really?” He asked. “Yea!” Misty exclaimed. “Oh, hey Scamper?” Misty asked, catching him by surprise.” Yes, Misty?” Scamper answered.``Why did you even come? I mean, you didn’t have to.” Misty asked. “Well, I’m always lonely, so I guess it just felt right.” He replied. “OK, thanks.” Misty beamed. “Guys, we got a small problem…” Stormy broadcasted. “A wolf and a weasel?!” A farmer exclaimed. “Scamper, chew through the ropes, and HURRY!” Misty snapped. Scamper nodded and immediately started chewing. “Don’t worry. We’ll get you out of here in no time.” Misty commented. Finally, Scamper chewed through the rope and Stormy bucked high. “Hey, That's my horse!!” Yelled the farmer. “How long have you been here?” Misty asked, curious. “About a day.” Answered Stormy.  Misty nodded. “Did they put horseshoes on you?” Misty asked. “No! Not yet!” Stormy exclaimed. “Well, tell Dominique that you ran off!” Scamper added. “Good idea, umm…” “Scamper, at your service.” Scamper introduced. Misty rolled her eyes. “Ok, good idea Scamper.” Stormy agreed. They were silent the rest of the trip. Finally, they came across a long green meadow with at least thirty horses. One of them was a huge female, not like fat, but strong. “Dominique!” Stormy yelled. “Ah, Stormy, where did you go?” Asked Dominique. “I went on a small trip, and met these two!” Stormy lied, facing right into Dominiques’ eyes.”Ok.” Answered Dominique. “I’m glad you came back.” She remarked. “Goodbye weasel, and wolf. It is nice to have other animal allies!” She joked. “Goodbye, Stormy. It was nice meeting you!” Misty solemnly said.”Goodbye, Misty, and Scamper. I hope I see you  both again!” Stormy replied. He looked sad, Misty thought as she and Scamper walked away from the herd. “Hey, Misty. Do you ever feel like somebody's watching you?” Scamper asked. “Yes, and I know who! Run Scamper, Dragon is back!” Misty screamed. “I’ll get Stormy. Don’t worry!” She whisper-yelled. Scamper shown a thumbs up. Misty smiled, and ran toward the herd of horses. “Stormy, Stormy! We need help! Hurry!” Misty screamed as loud as she could, hearing Dragon yelling after her, “No Missy! Don’t do this. I have your sister!” “I’m Misty!” She corrected him. “Misty!” Yelled a female voice. Kikis’ voice. “KIKI!” Misty cried. “Misty, I missed you so much!” Kiki cried so hard, she almost fell over. “Me too…” Misty trailed off, crying just as  hard as Kiki. “Let's go home.” Then Misty looked at Scamper. “All of us.” (It took me so long to type this all out haha. I’m so proud. Lmk if I should try and rewrite it? note to self: you don’t have to be perfect, you don’t need to live up to their standards. You just have to be happy. As long as you’re happy with yourself, that’s all that matters. :) )
