...See more Im Max. I have BPD, major depressive disorder, GAD, and acute stress disorder. Im nearly 28, Im genderfluid and wasnt born with the name Max. Yesterday, I wanted to make an announcement to my family that my name has changed and I would love for everyone to be on board. It started a huge fight that caused a massive freakout. My grandmother called me childish and my mom sent me to my room. When I emerged so I could play with my kids (dad has primary custody, I get them on holidays and summers) my mom came up and took my son and told my step dad to call my ex and warn him of my behaviour. Mind you this is the first time Ive ever freaked like this. My ex doesnt like me and already thinks Im psychotic, and he will do anything to take the kids permanently. I already had trauma before, but now its a million times worse. Christmas will forever be a point of contention for me because of this. All I wanted was for them to call me Max instead of my deadname. I didnt know this was going to happen. Im so traumatized. Im not going to be okay for a very long time now. Thanks for listening. I appreciate you all. I truly hope your Christmas was better than mine.
