I was having a hard day

...See more Or to be more accurate, I've been having hard year. Depression can really go crazy when your family isn't supportive. As a little bit of back story, my parents split when I was 14 (I'm 22 now). My mom is an alcoholic who was recovering for a while but, in the last few years, has been relapsing over and over again. I don't live with her. My dad has anger problems, which he self medicates with marijuana use. I wouldn't mind, but he has horrible memory and I have to constantly remind him of things. Also, we don't communicate well. I often leave our conversations feeling like I'm a huge burden on him, even though I know he loves me. My brother, who lives in the house, seems to truly lack any understanding of my feelings and has a complete lack of empathy toward me because of it, not to say he isn't a good kid. He just says the wrong things at the wrong times a lot. My grandfather also lives with us and has MS. We no longer have a living room because that's where grampa lives. Now, I know that MS makes people ornery but he started off as an asshole, so it's only become worse. We try to avoid him. I know that it doesn't seem like I come from this horrible situation, because realistically, I don't. It sucks, but it's not horrible. Unfortunately, though, I often feel like the world is collapsing around me and that I'm falling apart at the seams. That's where my recent problems come in. I've been so overwhelmed and at my wits end with constantly crying and wondering why I was born into this. I usually like to reach out to my friends, but today it was particularly difficult to find anyone to reach out to. So here I am. I literally found the site on google. The longest story of how someone found this site.
