Struggling with Grief

...See more Hello, for the sake of not making this too lengthy of a post — I am struggling to cope with the greatest loss I’ve ever experienced. It was inevitable, but I don’t know how to carry on without them. A huge part of my heart has been ripped from me and I have no will to keep moving forward. I’ve also struggled with depression for the majority of my life, and have also been on the wrong side of luck from as young as I can remember. Abandonment, trauma, abuse, anxiety…the list goes on. But this individual was the one that kept me going — gave me hope and reason to live. Now I have none. Everything is hopeless. The light has gone out in my world and I don’t see it coming back. My world has stopped since they’ve left, yet everyone around me keeps moving forward. I can’t keep moving forward without them. I’d rather just lay here until my time comes, when I can be with them again forever. Sending love to all those who struggle with grief. I’m here to listen, should you choose to share.
