Cant get a grip on my thoughts and im almost at my wits end. Help

...See more im a 23 year old guy and iv been struggling with depression for about 4 years now and recently its gotten out of hand so im looking for help for the first time, iv chatted with 7 different listeners and so far all i have got in answer to my feelings is 2 get professional help (not an option for me right now) 1 get meddicated (goes completely against my personal beliefs) and 4 get over it's/try harder, this is easy's. and this has me feeling helpess long story short, iv had an awesome life with almost no emotional trauma but i cant get over this looming cloud over my head and i recognize that i am hyper critical of myself and mistakes i make drive me crazy for a few hours and then haunt me for weeks. i know its self destructive but i cant stop it, this makes me feel weak/dumb, this makes me angry and depressed and the thoughts enter that cycle. im losing my grip on reality and i just want to feel better, can anyone help me?
