...See more Hi there, I am new to 7 Cups, and I'm trying to navigate the app... I joined specifically for a BPD support forum. There aren't many out there that I have found recently :/ I've just started a therapeutic journey, but I'm having a tremendously difficult time making improvements to my emotional dysregulation. My therapist and I are trying to find ways for me to manage my stress and emotions in situations that trigger me, but boy is that hard. I'm currently working with a therapist who specializes in CBT, but I am also in the process of seeking therapists who specialize in DBT near me. My current therapist has recommended that since we are only beginning to work on emotional regulation, I also try a medication intervention for mood instability. Have any of you had any experience with mood stabilizers? Were the effective alongside therapy treatment? Anyway, thank you for reading, and I hope to encounter good things with this forum :)
