Ruminating Thoughts

...See more I keep having ruminating thoughts and having conversations in my head that will never happen. Like I'm practicing how to respond, but I always end up feeling worse and more stresses. So I wrote this jingle to hopefully sing in place of those thoughts. The tone of the song is meant to be like a counselor who's gone through this is too and is kindly, softly, telling you these things. I hope this helps someone. . Don't have conversations in your head . Of things that will never be said . And even if they did . It wouldn't change *** . Just makes us feel worse . Constantly repeating the same words . Over and over again . Only hurting ourselves in the end . So, no conversations in our head . Let's change the subject instead . Think of the things you love . To get you out of this rut . Rewiring our brain . Is not the easiest thing . But I know that it can be done . Learning not to let our thoughts run . It takes practice and time . But trust me, you will be fine I want to add that what I'm not judging anyone and don't want to upset anyone, if this doesn't help you that's okay. Not all tools works for every person and there is nothing wrong with you and you're not a failure if some stuff doesn't work for you. Thank you for reading this.

...See more I'm new to this. Anytime I try to talk to my mom about how I feel it always turns into a fight but when she's sees that I'm upset and I say I don't want to talk about it she looks sad and keeps asking. I googled if there was somewhere to talk to people with similar issues and this app popped up. This group seems really helpful since I'm also autistic.
