Battling Addiction & Bettering Affected Relationships

...See more Hi, new member here. I have struggled with substance abuse for many years and many times I have overcome my struggles and bettered my ability to create and stick to change. I was in a five year relationship with a wonderful partner that helped guide me into better habits and all was well. Once we split, I was devastated and it has all went downhill from there. It's been almost 2 years now, and every day it gets harder. I don't trust new relationships and I have been slipping; I lash out and self sabotage everything around me to avoid getting hurt. Does anyone else struggle with this? If so, please reply below with how you have helped resolve this in your own journey.
