Dealing with my dog with CKD alone

...See more Hi there. I’ve been living alone for about 4 years now. I live in the US, but my entire family lives overseas. My 16 year old has had CKD (chronic kidney disease) for about 4 years now. She hasn't shown any major symptoms, but her last bloodwork showed it reached stage 4.  I’ve tried many things throughout this disease such as diet change, adding supplements, exercise, etc. I'm a very anxious person. I used to be prescribed Xanax, but I’ve been off meds for over 10 years. These last 2 weeks I’ve been very anxious to the point I’m barely eating. To make things worse, my dog injured her toe and has been bleeding constantly and is causing her pain. I already took her to 3 different vets including an ER vet, and they aren’t sure what happened. They couldn’t find a foxy tail and suspect it could have been a cyst that popped. I don’t have that many friends nearby (I work remotely) which I can hang out with. I mostly talk to my family over the phone. I wish I had someone living with me - that would be so helpful, but it’s not possible at the moment. My ex moved out 4 years ago. I have been coming to the beach with my dog and we sit in the car for most of the day. I set up my computer in the car, and this has been helping a lot during the day, but it sucks when I have to go home at night. I’m just letting my feelings out. It’s been hard to cope with this stress alone. Not sure if someone is going or has gone through similar ordeal.
