Bio
Hi there. I am graduating this winter with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have many experiences in my life that have made me uniquely aware of the mental struggles people go through. I have been working through the pandemic as an essential worker and it has been an experience that gave me a deeper appreciation for my health and family. I was an athlete my entire childhood. I played soccer for years and it gave me insight into the pressure competitive sports can create. Sports also gave me a positive outlet to make friends and gain skills rather than getting into trouble. I have a son who is four years old. Becoming a father really made me a more loving and caring person. Being a student at La Verne has challenged me in ways I had not experienced before. I had to learn how to write essays, meeting deadlines, and I especially learned that working full time and studying full time is difficult but it is not impossible. All of this has made me who I am and I am thrilled to be able to use my experiences to help someone else.
