...See more Hello, I am looking for a female listener who is comfortable discussing issues related to women, society, identity, and belonging. For a long time, I have been struggling with feelings connected to the way I see my role as a woman within my society and culture. These thoughts have affected how I view myself, my future, relationships, and marriage. I often find myself questioning where I belong, and I sometimes experience feelings of shame, frustration, anger, or disconnection related to a culture and social expectations that I did not choose but feel expected to accept. I am not mainly seeking advice about a specific relationship or family conflict. What I need is someone who is willing to listen as I try to understand how these experiences and beliefs have shaped my self-image, my sense of belonging, and my emotional well-being. I would appreciate speaking with someone who is open-minded, nonjudgmental, and comfortable discussing women’s issues, identity, and social pressures. Thank you.

Childhood memory that resurfaced years later

...See more I have a question about childhood memories. Recently, I started thinking again about a specific memory from my childhood that I had not thought about for a long time. I remember the place, the people involved, and the event itself, but I am unsure how reliable the memory is after so many years. What makes this difficult is that knowing whether this memory is true or not could change the way I understand many things about my life and past experiences. Because of that, I find the uncertainty very hard to deal with. Have any of you experienced a childhood memory resurfacing later in life? How did you deal with not knowing whether the memory was completely accurate?
