...See more Basically I've been with my partner 10 years this year. I've always had a high sex drive and she hasn't but the first couple of years I was happy with how things were in the bedroom. A few years goes by and our sex life slows down massively which I struggle with. Now in the last couple of years my partner has had an illness which has caused her to be in chronic pain I’ve supported her through all of it and been to all of her DR and hospital appointments. I have taken on our business which she's had to take a bit of a step back from. (I’m not looking to be thanked for this I just want to support her) Now obviously our sex life is worse than ever which I understand but for me it's a huge thing to me as that's how I feel loved and wanted. I feel like a horrible person for the way I'm feeling knowing she is suffering health wise. I have tried to explain to her in the past and she’s told me to try and lay off with the signals as it makes her feel pressured but if I don’t signal for it nothing ever happens and then it comes to a head. Which usually leads her to have sex with me which then just makes me think it’s pitty sex. I love her to bits and this is the only issue I have with our relationship but for me it’s a big issue. I feel completely trapped and have nobody I can talk to regarding this. At night I end up staying up not sleeping due to it getting to me. id love to hear a females perspective, thank you.
