...See more Do I approach my husband about his drinking habits? Thr amount of daily use isn't my highest concern. Sometimes it's a few beers and sometimes it's more. its the shielding him and walking on eggshells. A large portion of my life is spent avoiding conversation in fear something will set him off. He's not physically abusive or anything, There's so much to this I don't even know where to start. I want to approach him but the drinking makes him incredibly reactive. And the off chance he's not drinking, I don't want to ruin the day by bringing it up. I also feel guilt because I know it makes him happy. It's a stress reliever for him. I want him to be happy and enjoy himself. Even if he's hard to be around.
