...See more I am in a relationship with a tyrant. He is absolutely horrible to me. He is the coldest, cruelest person I have ever met. I have only encountered people like him in the movies. These last 2yrs with him have been a nightmare. I have no idea what I seen in him. We live together and I desperately want to leave and I told him this. I cannot rent anywhere else as a resident as long as I am on a lease with him in the state we reside. He said he will not take me off the lease either and I begged. I have nowhere else to go and I am suffering. I am able to support myself I just need to get off of this lease. I cry everyday. I am tired and worn. I cannot live like this anymore. Our lease isn't up until 8/1/2024 and I know I cannot stay here for the next 7 months because my mental health is collapsing. What can I do?
