...See more Hi guys, I've used 7 cups of tea for a while but never really participated in any of the communities. I just scrolled through a thread and thought maybe I could give it a try. I've been feeling hopeless and like I have more responsibilities than I can keep up with and that I can't really find a connection that add fire to my soul. Things feel transactional with people and like there's always some hidden cost you have to pay to be around others. I'm trying to find things to do to feel happy but I haven't felt light hearted in a while. Nothing really brings me a sense a lasting joy and I'm getting tired of my job 2 months in. I already started sending out applications and have gotten 2 interviews for a part time position but the hours wouldn't work out for me so am still applying. There's a man I'm hoping to see next month. When I was with him last year I was very happy. He comes to my country twice a year unfortunately I couldn't see him the 2nd time due to the hurricane so he canceled his flight. Hopefully I can see him next month. In the meantime I'm trying to focus on my life. I've been facing a lot of disappointments thats been waking on my heart and the people around me are saying I'm complaining about normal life things.
