...See more Hello all, I am new here. I’ve been going through some things I’d like some advice on. Back story first my girlfriend(ex I guess) and I have known each other almost 5 years, we started dating this time around in June and told me that we were pregnant August 2nd, now we did plan to have the baby. I’ve only dated 3 women, and I’m someone who knows fairly quickly about my connections, but trust me I know it sounds crazy that we planned to have a baby but I was and still am 100% committed to spending my life with her if I can. But a few weeks ago she wanted to have a talk about how I haven’t said I love you and I’ve been a bit distant. Well an about a month prior my grandmother had passed away, and few years ago my best friend committed suicide and he was the only person I ever talked to about how I felt. I admitted to being distant and explained to her why it’s hard for me to naturally say I love you and that I hoped she could tell by my actions I loved her, she said she knew I loved her by my actions but she needed to hear it regularly. She seemed like she didn’t think I could change but I wrote her a 5 page note telling her why things are hard for me and why I love her. She told me she loved me and wanted to work on things. Well a few weeks after that talk she told me she feels we aren’t compatibles and she just wants to be alone and that she doesn’t really know why. And we’ve talked more since and she reassured me and swears it’s nothing I’ve done and that she doesn’t know why she just wants to be alone. Even her sister who lives with her says she act like she doesn’t really want anything to do with her. I just need some insight here as I’m at a loss of what to do, I love this woman, and I’ve always been the guy who was ready to have a baby and a beautiful family. I never imagined seeing my kid every other week. My girlfriend was crazy about me prior to the pregnancy and it seems now that she doesn’t really have any interest in me, granted it seems she doesn’t have any interest in anyone right now. She has taken meds in the past for depression and anxiety, I’m trying everything I can to be there for her, prove I love her, and not take anything personal due to hoping it could be the hormones causing this. Is it at all possible that the hormones could be causing her to feel this way and that it’s possible we could still be a happy family at the end of this?
