Not sure if it's worth getting diagnosed

...See more So I'm 38 and when I was a kid the Dr laughed and told my parents girls can't get ADHD and to just be stricter with me, now I'm a Mom of 2 girls both with diagnosed ADHD and it wasn't untill I started getting them help that I saw all of my own symptoms for what they were. In a lot of ways I think I should get diagnosed but I also don't know how it would help much. I've been forcing my brian to work the way it does for so long I wouldn't know how to make it work any other way ,but I've noticed I get points of burn out and depression but it's just the cycle Ive been in my whole life. I have some friends that are really pushing me to get therapy but my only experience with therapy was pretty toxic and they got really religious on me and I just kind of locked up and nodded my way through the session and never went back. So I don't know, in a lot of ways I feel like I'm almost 40 and what's the point and then in other ways I feel like maybe getting some kind of help could be nice. Idk
