...See more Hi everyone, I am 26 years old, feeling lonely and alone in a new city. I just moved from NY to DMV area. I am usually really good at making friends ( at least in the past). It has been 6 months and I have struggled tremendously. I know people in the area but seems like everyone is busy with their life and I do not want to be of annoyance or disturbance. I have hangout with people but never saw them again after the first hangout...maybe we just didn't click. My husband's family have been a great support but I feel as they pity me because I cannot seem to adjust to my new environment but I want to be able to be me again.
