...See more Y’all, I need some guidance. I have a crush on my female best friend who claims she is straight. However, whenever we visit each other(Long distance bestiesss!), she’s giving me mixed signals. I’ve never had this close of a friendship before and I’m not so sure if I should make a move on her. I’ll list all the signals I “think” are possibly something more! Mixed signals: • Always bringing up gay topics with me • Always making eye contact with me during a conversation with the group(Her brother, me, my brother and her) It feels directed towards me. • Subtle text flirting, like she’ll send me a *** vid and the caption will say something like “How it feels to talk to someone with the same humor as you so things keep getting funnier,” or “Me when a horror game instructs me to “go outside and investigate.” With a guy side-eyeing the screen. • Repeatedly saying men are gross or getting grossed out with men, saying she’s not ready for a relationship. • Always seeking me out first • We both keep the text conversation going, text almost everyday. • While we were playing a Roblox horror game once, she said, “You’re supposed to be protecting me! I’m just the dainty little girl!” Then a second time where I was trolling with a boy avatar and she said, “You’re the man! You’re supposed to protect the lady!” • Always calls me Baked Bean whenever I call her Skyscraper. (She’s taller than me by a couple inches) Guys, is this just friendly affection, or is this lowkey something more? Be honest!
