...See more Aching for what I let go of Somehow thinking if I was there he might magically become the person I had hoped for If he knew we spoke again, that all would become right. He would wake up, show remorse, protect me, and resolve all Letting go may be painful and feel unbearable, but no matter how unfair, I know I would rather be alone. I wish what I longed for in a partner I had found but I hope for a brighter future this pain can’t last forever
